Decoupage Farmhouse Sign
These sweet farmhouse signs were the find of the week and I had so much fun making this I couldn't wait to share!
All the supplies used are part of the Crafting & Christ Farmhouse Sign Kit but I also sell the sign frame separately if you already have supplies to use.
SUPPLIES
I painted the wooden tile first in White Paint (this is the kind I love using- it coats well and dries quickly).
Next I tore up some vintage floral paper and attached to three of the corners while the paint was still tacky and then decoupaged with mod podge to set.
Next I decoupage edged my main focal design (the John 3:16 decoupage paper) and applied using the mod podge and smoothed out the design with some saran wrap.
TIP: Don't go over the design too many times or the ink starts to smear- I learned that the had way and had to scrap my first version :(
Lastly I added some paper and burlap flowers for some texture and tied a bow onto the beaded loop with the burlap ribbon.
